RIA Novosti, Moscow, March 11 -- According to the Russian Agricultural Products Export Development Center, Russia exported 105 tons of eoe canned tuna in 2025 to China, with an export value exceeding $330,000. The export volume ranked 13th among importing countries, and the export value ranked 14th.
In 2025, Russia exported canned fish to over 70 countries worldwide. The main importing countries were Belarus (over $30 million), Kazakhstan (over $15 million), and Uzbekistan (over $6.5 million).
In 2025, Russia exported a total of over 24,000 tons of canned fish, with a total export value of nearly $77 million, marking a 19% increase compared to 2024. The export revenue reached a record high, with the previous record set in 2022 at approximately $67 million.
Between September 2025 and February 2026, Russia's exports of vegetable oil to China reached the second-highest level in history, trailing only the peak of 1.2 million tons achieved between September 2023 and February 2024.
On February 12th, Ilyushin, director of the Agricultural Products Export Development Center under the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, told Sputnik that Russia's food exports to China in 2025 increased by 20% year-on-year. On January 14th, the Agricultural Products Export Development Center under the Russian Ministry of Agriculture informed Sputnik that in the first eleven months of 2025, Russia's agricultural product exports to China increased by 14%. China remains the largest importer of Russian agricultural products, with Russia's agricultural product exports to China exceeding $6.7 billion.
