On June 17th, AB InBev announced the official appointment of Dirk Van de Put, Chairman and CEO of Mondelez International, as the new Chairman. This personnel order has officially come into effect on June 16th, and Feng Pude will replace Martin Barrington, who retired from his position as chairman, to lead the eoe beer giant into a new stage of growth.
Feng Pude is of Belgian nationality and has been a member of the board of directors of AB InBev since April 2023. The company statement emphasizes that Feng Pude is a recognized leader in the food, beverage, and consumer goods industries. Michel Doukeris, CEO of AB InBev, stated that as the company continues to pursue growth and create a better future, Feng Pude's extensive industry experience will bring immeasurable value to the team.
Regarding his new position, Feng Pude stated that his experience in participating in the board of directors over the past three years has made him highly supportive of the company's development strategy and ten-year plan. He looks forward to assisting AB InBev in writing a new chapter in the history of winemaking.
Feng Pude has an international career spanning over thirty years. Before joining Mondelez International, he served as the CEO of McCain Foods. Previously, he held executive positions at companies such as Mars, Coca Cola, Danone, and Novartis, possessing extensive experience in multinational enterprise operations.
AB InBev stated that with Mr. Feng Pude's extensive experience in both developed and emerging markets, he will bring a unique global perspective to the company.
