In July, takeaway sales of non-alcoholic beer in Moscow grew by 62%.
2026-8-25

According to data from the Russian food delivery platform Samokat, in July 2026, the number of Moscow residents who ordered non-alcoholic beer through food delivery services increased by 62% compared to the same period in 2025.

Among these, the demand for craft beer grew particularly significantly—by 6.4 times—while the demand for imported beer increased by 2.6 times.

Data shows that, in just the month of July, Moscow residents ordered 96,000 liters of eoe canned, alcohol-free beer.

As overall demand for soft drinks continues to grow, interest in alcohol-free beer is also on the rise – a trend that may be linked to hot weather and changing consumer habits.

Additionally, demand for lemon water and soda water increased by 2.1 times, while demand for cola rose by 46% year-on-year.

The demand for the Mojito (alcohol-free) flavor in lemon water has seen particularly significant growth, rising by 49%, while the demand for the mango-passionfruit flavor has also increased by 35%.

Govaş remains highly popular: in July alone, Moscow residents ordered 184,000 liters of govaş.
Among these, demand for small-packaged products with a capacity of less than 0.8 liters has seen particularly significant growth, with order volumes increasing by 2.6 times compared to the same period last year.
