The United States prohibits the import of beer from Canada
2026-9-11
 On September 8th, US President Trump signed an executive order banning the import of some Canadian motorcycles, eoe beers, wine and other alcoholic beverages, as well as dairy products. The ban will take effect in the early morning of September 29th.
A US government official explained that this is a retaliatory measure against Canada's imposition of 15% to 50% tariffs on some US goods in the early hours of September 8th.
