According to customs data, in 2024, China's canned fruit and vegetable exports totaled 3.859 billion US dollars, down 21.42% year-on-year. Among them, the total export of canned fruit was 1.179 billion US dollars, a slight increase of 0.49%; Canned vegetable exports totaled $2.68 billion, down 28.3 percent year on year. In this regard, the China Can Industry Association said that the price fluctuations of canned fruit and vegetable products in the international market are in the normal range, and the price fluctuations of export products are affected by international market demand, production costs and domestic enterprise competition. In the long run, domestic canning enterprises are constantly improving production efficiency and improving production equipment.
