(Ontario, Canada, March 10) US President Donald Trump has aggressively imposed tariffs on Canada and other countries, disrupting the global order and causing economic chaos. Therefore, Canada's oldest brewery believes that if Canadians want to survive in the next four years, they may need to drink beer every day to relieve themselves, and launched a giant box package containing 1,461 cans of beer, which people drink one can per day, just enough to finish the end of Trump's four-year term.
Moosehead Breweries, founded in 1867, launched a giant box containing 1,461 cans of easy-to-pull beer on March 7. "If the start of 2025 has taught us anything, it's that it takes determination to get through four years of political uncertainty [meaning Trump's tariff threat], and the best way to get through each day is with a real Canadian beer," says Karen Grigg, marketing director at Moosehead Brewery in New Brunswick, Canada.
The "President Pack" beer is only sold on the Moosehead Brewery website. Residents living in the Canadian provinces of Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia can purchase the product for about 3,500 Canadian dollars (about 17,582 yuan) including shipping.
Moose Head Brewery, like other Canadian companies, is unhappy with Trump's threatened tariffs. In an interview, Moosehead Brewery CEO Andrew Oland called it "very disappointing" and said it was "really sad to see this relationship between the two countries go in a different direction."
