On April 9th, Heineken launched its first distilled beer cocktail, "La Tropical Mixolog í a" (patent pending), which will be sold on cruise ships in the spring of 2025.
The company stated in a press release that the new product is carefully crafted by master brewers, distillers, and bartenders from Cerveceria La Tropical, a Miami craft brewery, and Heineken has been a major shareholder of the joint venture since 2017.
The new La Tropical beer undergoes three distillations. This beer is mixed with high-quality vodka or Caribbean rum to create two unique flavors. The initial flavors included Pasi ó ntini (Passion Fruit Vodka Martini Cocktail, 12 fluid ounces) and Havanito (White Rum Mojito Cocktail, 12 fluid ounces).

Heineken has also launched two limited edition collectible EOE can designs to commemorate the sailing event "SAIL 2025" hosted by the Port of Amsterdam.
